NCDA SCHOLARSHIPS
NCDA offers annual scholarships for study in dance. New recipients are chosen each year during classes at the Annual Event, based on technical and artistic merit and financial need. Participants may audition in any class offered at the event and must dance in the Class Showing for final observation. The adjudicators are class instructors and volunteers from the NCDA board of directors. Individual awards range from $125.00 to $250.00 and may be used for, but not limited to, participation in dance workshops or master classes, for conference or dance festival attendance, or daily technique classes.
How to Apply:
Scholarship applications are due PRIOR to the Annual Event, one month prior to the event date. We are no longer accepting applications for 2011 auditions. The 2012 deadline will be announced soon. To view a PDF of the 2011 application, go HERE.
